NURSING DYNAMICS (a division of CTC)

In 1999 CTC commenced delivery of the Certificate IV in Health-Nursing (Enrolled Nursing) and in 2004 the delivery of the new Diploma of Nursing - Pre-Enrolment (Nursing), and the Diploma of Post-Enrolment (Nursing) for existing Enrolled Nurses wishing to upgrade their qualification.

To better reflect and heighten CTC’s commitment to quality Enrolled Nurse training, NURSING DYNAMICS was established in 2005.

NURSING DYNAMICS offers the Diploma of Nursing both full time (3 days per week over a duration of 12 months) and part time (1 day per week over a duration of 18 months).

This course will articulate into further training opportunities and offers a career path for people wishing to obtain employment in Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities or Home Based care Environments.

All training encompasses the principles of adult learning where, in some circumstances, Recognition of Prior Learning / Recognition of Current Competencies may be acknowledged.

Training is practical and explores cultural influences confronting Health Care Workers.

NURSING DYNAMICS' training staff are experienced practitioners who create a supportive learning environment.

NURSING DYNAMICS enjoys close industry links and graduates are in high demand. The course is AUSTUDY and ABSTUDY approved and in some cases course fees may be tax deductible.

ACCREDITATION: NURSING DYNAMICS is a Nationally Accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Process for Enrolment:
  • Completion of a Community Services Certificate III qualification for part time course
  • Completion of Year 12 for full time course
  • Complete an Enrolled Nurse Course - Student Application Form
  • Provide a 300 word hand written response to a prepared scenario
  • Attend an interview with the Course Co-ordinator and support personnel and complete Numeracy and Literacy assessment.
  • If accepted onto the proposed course a $500.00 deposit will be required to secure position
  • Course duration: Conducted over 1260 hours including 420 of clinical placements.
    Full Time: 3 day per week for 12 months.
    Part Time: 1 day per week for 18 months.
    Payment plans:

    Offered with a 5% administration fee. Payment plans must be finalised prior to course commencement. (Late payment fees will apply)

    Attendance: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.45pm (approximately)
    RCC/RPL: Offered with a $50.00 non refundable application fee. All RCC/RPL granted will attract a $3.00 per actual hour fee (payable before recognition granted).
